| Capability: | Rescue 6 is equipped with ALS (Advanced Life Support) Medical and Rope Rescue equipment. The medical equipment includes BLS and ALS kits, burn kits, oxygen, Zoll cardiac and AED monitor, heated IV solutions, ALS medications and drugs, suction and splinting equipment. Rescue 6 carries nearly 3000 feet of rescue rope as well a host of supporting equipment such as: Arizona Vortex tripod, Z-pulley and belay systems packs, portable TNT pump and combination tool, 2 Junkin baskets, rescue wheel for basket as well as a myriad of caribiners, figure 8's, ascenders and prusik ropes. The personal rescue backbacks are equipped with helmets, CMC rescue harnesses, radio chest harness and other miscellaneous hardware. Rescue 6 has a 12,000 lb Warn winch and numerous anchor points mounted to the vehicle for rescue operations. |
